Based in Racine Wisconsin, the Racine Area Soccer Association has been serving the Racine Area for over 40 years. RASA has a membership of 3,000+ recreational and select players aged U4 through adult. Racine Area Soccer Association (RASA) is looking for a Recreation Program Manager to manage the RASA Recreation Soccer Programing and help run and continue to grow its successful recreation soccer programs.

Job Summary

The Recreation Program Manager will oversee the RASA Recreation programs; Traditional Fall/Spring Seasons, Winter Futsal Recreation League, Summer Youth 3v3, and Summer Adult 6v6 League.  The Recreation Program Manager will work directly with the Club Administrator and Executive Director. This job is a part time plus position, with more hours during the fall and spring seasons. This job requires game day operations on the weekends at RASA’s privately owned soccer complex, SCORe Soccer Complex, during the fall and spring seasons.

Key Job Requirements

  • Manage Recreation Program registrations, team building, etc
  • Be main point of contact for RASA recreational programs
  • Program registration promotion & marketing
  • Develop coach education program/clinics for RASA Recreation Coaches
  • Recreation scheduling
  • Community outreach
  • Game day operations

Qualifications we are looking for

  • Required:  5 years soccer coaching experience
  • Required: Minimum of USSF D License or equivalent, with willingness to advance licensure
  • Previous experience preferred but not necessary
  • Bachelors Degree in sports management strongly preferred
  • Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills, organization skills, and time management skill
  • Experience working with databases and high level of computer literacy strongly preferred
  • Ability to interact productively and positively with coaches, parents, and players.
  • Must have good conflict resolution skills.
  • Must be able to work flexible schedules including weekends and evenings
  • Must be of high integrity, and have positive and proactive mindset
