Summary:
The U11-U15 Girls Director of Coaching (GDOC) will be responsible for the management and oversight of all U11-U15 teams and coaches in Rio Rapids Soccer Club and will implement the philosophy and curriculum of the Club. This position will be responsible for ensuring quality development of female players of all ages and levels within the U11-U15 age range. The GDOC will be responsible for understanding customer feedback, driving continuous improvement and acting as a leader to implement improvements.

U11-U15 GIRLS DIRECTOR OF COACHING

The U11-U15 Girls Director of Coaching (GDOC) will be responsible for the management and oversight of all U11-U15 teams and coaches in Rio Rapids Soccer Club and will implement the philosophy and curriculum of the Club.  This position will be responsible for ensuring quality development of female players of all ages and levels within the U11-U15 age range. The GDOC will be responsible for understanding customer feedback, driving continuous improvement and acting as a leader to implement improvements.

This is a full-time position reporting directly to the Director of Coaching 

Major objectives

  • Lead implementation of Rio Rapids Mission through player development pathways in the U11-U15 ages.
  • Oversee Staff development and management in the U11-U15 ages.
  • Create a positive culture that builds a mindset growth amongst the players, coaches and staff.

Job Functions

U11-U15 Girls Director of Coaching

  • Head coach teams as assigned for duration of fall & spring seasons (Not necessarily in the U11-U15 age ranges) including Girls Academy (GA) teams.
  • Staff coaching for duration of fall and spring seasons as assigned .
  • Monitor and evaluate all girls teams U11 through U15.
  • Manage & Evaluate all U11-U15 Staff coaches, complete annual performance & career planning meetings with all coaches.
  • Hold U11-U15 Coaches Meeting to review plans & direction for age group.
  • Identify and recruit players and teams from New Mexico and surrounding areas.
  • Communication, Education & Implementation of Age Group Objectives, Organization & Outcomes.
  • Implementing Rapids Curriculum with U11-U15 coaches/teams.
  • Communication & Implementation of Let us Play Campaign.
  • Research and recommend preferred tournament events for girls U11 through U15.
  • Communicate with all girls’ team coaches U11 through U15 on a weekly basis.
  • Ensure completion of comprehensive player evaluations at U11 through U15 prior to tryouts .
  • Work with U9-U10 Director and assist with U10’s and their transition to U11.
  • Work with U16-U19 Director to transition U15’s to U16.
  • Attend office hours (currently set on T&TH).
  • Attend all coach education within your age groups.
  • Continue your coaching Licenses to meet GA min standard (B lic).

Oversee Community Outreach Programs

  • Develop community service partners.
  • Track community service participation.
  • Market community service events - website, facebook & twitter.
  • Run our Cancer fundraiser each year.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Degree from an accredited institution.
  • 5 years coaching experience at the youth level, in a club setting or an elite player development environment.
  • USSF CCoaching License (current) or the equivalent.
  • Ability to handle multiple responsibilities and adhere to defined performance deadlines.
  • Ability to work well within a diverse group of leaders, with high levels of autonomy and to be able to deliver professional communication, written and verbal. 
  • A positive approach and a commitment the RRSC philosophy of development first for all players within our membership and programs.

BENEFITS & COMPENSATION:

Job Type: Full-time

Salary range of $30,000-$40,000 annually, based on experience.
