The U.S. Women’s National Team defeated Trinidad & Tobago Friday night in the semifinals of the 2016 CONCACAF Women's Olympic Qualifying Championship to secure a berth to the 2016 Olympics in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.
All 20 players who helped the U.S. advance to the final of the qualifying tournament and secure a trip to Rio grew up playing US Youth Soccer, with several playing in multiple competitive programs. The roster includes:
- Three players who won US Youth Soccer National Championships
- Five players who were US Youth Soccer National Finalists
- Nine players who competed at the US Youth Soccer National Championships
- 15 players whose teams advanced to US Youth Soccer Regional Championships
- 20 players who participated in the US Youth Soccer Olympic Development Program
- Three players whose teams played in the US Youth Soccer National League
