Some highlights from today's matches…

PSC Baltimore (MD) moved into a tie atop the Red division with a 3-1 triumph over JB Marine Wipke (MO). Samantha Scaffidi scored her second goal of the week in just the 4th minute as PSC assumed the early lead, but Bethany Coons leveled for JB Marine eight minutes later as they entered the break at 1-1. Alexandra Hamer regained the lead for PSC with a 67th minute strike and Hannah Goff added an insurance goal in stoppage time.

Javanon 97 Black (KY) looked like they would grab their first victory of the National League season as they led 2-1 in stoppage time before PWSI Courage 96 Red (VA) stole a point with an 82nd minute goal. Lauryn Westman put Javanon in front in the 46th minute before Skylar Dowell evened things up for PWSI in the 67th. Javanon assumed the lead again with four minutes to play through Devin Spratt-Erhart, but Jenna Ferraro's goal two minutes into extra time ended the game at 2-2.

The Under-16 Girls is looking to be one of the tightest groups as every team has at least one point and no team has a perfect record. AHFC 96 (S-TX) got their first win versus Zionsville 96 Select I (IN) with a 2-0 victory. Lauren Harrington netted the eventual winner in the 28th minute and Selena Peters secured the win with a goal in the 69th.

In a matchup for top spot in the Red division, Internationals 95 Red (OH-N) came back from a goal down with 15 minutes to play versus KCFC/Futura Academy (MO), including a stoppage time winner, to lead the group after three days. Despite the loss, KCFC stands alone in second position. Jessica Hartzler scored in the 65th to put KCFC in the lead, but Anna Wiencek equalized for Internationals in the 72nd as Emily Ogle netted what could be a decisive goal for the league outcome for a 2-1 victory.

Late goals were the theme of the day as Eastside FC 95 Red (WA) also scored in stoppage time, cancelling out a PWSI Courage 95 Gold (VA) goal just two minutes earlier. Colleen Gawkins scored what was sure to be the winner for PWSI with two minutes to play, but Abigail Morrow's goal in the 80th saved a point for Eastside in a 1-1 draw.

JB Marine Wipke moved into the win column in the U-17 Girls, beating Albion White (CA-S) 3-0. Hannah Leinert's first half double with goals in the 12th and 38th minutes sent JB Marine on their way and Jade Klump ensured three points in the standings with her own goal in the 63rd.

Chicago Fire Juniors Red 11 (IL) knocked Internationals SC 94 (OH-N) from the ranks of the unbeaten with their first victory in a 1-0 win. Cora Climo scored the game winner in the 23rd as neither team could find the net again.

Blast FC (OH-S) missed a chance to take sole position at the top of the Blue division, but settled for a tie for the lead after a 0-0 draw with VSA Heat Blue (VA), who could have jumped to the top of the group with a win of their own.
