Several Conference teams set to compete at showcase in New England

Over Memorial Day Weekend, EDP Soccer will host the USYS Regional Showcase New England, one of the top recruiting opportunities in the region. The event will feature 13U-19U boys and girls teams from over 50 clubs. The tournament will be held at some of New England’s top venues, including Progin Park, Game On, Forekicks and FC Stars. The event will feature diverse cross-Conference match-ups between National League teams from different parts of the region, including many teams who will be competing for their respective State Cup Championship the following weekend.

In addition to college coaches on site, EDP Soccer has partnered with ScoutingZone and Next Level Video for the event, so that Division I coaches (NCAA mandated dead period until 5/31), and coaches who were not able to make the event due to budget and travel restrictions, will be able to evaluate players through video after the event.

A look at some of the event’s brackets:

The 13U Boys Red Division will feature teams from the USYS New England Conference, USYS North Atlantic Conference and USYS Mid Atlantic Conference. NJ Premier 08 recently won the NJYS State Cup Championship, while CFC Regional 08 and Brentwood SC 2008 Man City both won their State Cup semifinals and will compete in the final the weekend of June 5-6. The group also includes Western United Pioneers 08 Elite, who will be in the MYSA State Cup semifinals on June 5.

The 14U Boys Red Division will see teams from five different State Associations and three National League Conferences. PDA Hibernian Scholes is looking to clinch a berth to the USYS Eastern Regional Championships through the Mid Atlantic Conference, while Western United Pioneers recently earned their spot in 2021-2022 National League P.R.O., and will also be in the MYSA State Cup semifinals. CFC North is also looking to clinch its place in National League P.R.O and the Eastern Regional Championships through the New England Conference. The group also includes Rhode Island State Cup champion Rhode Island Surf, Northeast Rush MA and Stony Brook SC Atletico.

The 15U Boys Red Division will feature several of the region's top teams, including NJ Premier 06, who recently clinched first place in the Mid Atlantic Conference and a spot in the Eastern Regional Championships and National League P.R.O. Bridgeport Premier FC, Juventus Academy Boston and Best FC 2006 all will compete in their State Cup semifinals. The group also includes Brentwood SC 2006 Academy from the North Atlantic Club vs. Club Division and DUSC 2006 from North Atlantic Premier I Division.

The 16U through 19U Boys divisions include many of the region's top clubs, including Beachside SC, Best FC, CFC, FC Westchester, Ginga FC, Juventus Academy Boston, Inter Connecticut, Long Island Slammers, Massapequa SC, NEFC, New England Surf, New York Rush, Rhode Island Surf, Scorpions SC, Seacoast United, Southeast SC, Spirit of Liverpool and more.

The 14U Girls Red division includes several teams who are still competing for State Cup titles, including Alleycats 2007G Red, CFC North Regional 07, Western United Pioneers and New England Surf Navy 07. Rounding out the group is SDA Utica 07 from the North Atlantic Conference and Rhode Island Surf of the New England Conference.

The 15U Girls divisions feature many of the the top names in the region, including Seacoast United Maine, New England Surf, Western United Pioneers, NJ Premier FC, Alleycats SC and Yankee United. SDA 2006 Girls recently won the NY West State Cup championship, and Force FC 2006 will compete in the Eastern NY State Cup final.

The 16U Girls Red Division will see teams from five different states compete, including New Jersey State Cup semifinalist NJ Premier 05 and Eastern NY State Cup semifinalists Patriots FC 05 and Alleycats SC 0’ Red. Western United Pioneers from Massachusetts, CFC North Regional from Connecticut and Seacoast United from Maine complete the group.

The 17U Girls Red division features the highly successful SDA Utica 04G, who participated in the National League Playoffs and has clinched a place in National League P.R.O. through its performance in the North Atlantic Conference. Alleycats SC 04’ Red will be competing in the Eastern NY State Cup finals, while CFC North 04 is in the Connecticut State Cup semifinals and New England Surf State Navy and Seacoast United Mass are both in the Massachusetts State Cup semifinals.

The 18U and 19U Girls divisions include top clubs Bruno United, CFC, Galway Rovers, Juventus Academy Boston, New England Surf, Nirvana 360 FC, New York Rush, New York Surf, Rhode Island Surf, Seacoast United, Southampton SC, and more.
