US Youth Soccer Partners with Soccer Parenting Association
Working Together to Inspire players by Empowering Parents
FRISCO, TX (May 28, 2021) – US Youth Soccer (USYS) is pleased to announce their all-new partnership with the Soccer Parenting Association (Soccer Parenting). Founded by Skye Eddy, Soccer Parenting’s mission is to inspire players by empowering parents. This new partnership will provide USYS with insights and tools to help support parent education, engagement and consultation to help USYS fullfill it’s mission to provide world-class support, resources and leadership, helping every member fulfill their goals on and off the field of play.
“Soccer Parenting gives USYS an opportunity to support our members with the information and resources they need to help parents and clubs,” said Skip Gilbert, CEO US Youth Soccer. “Soccer parents are critically important to their childs enjoyment and development on the pitch. Teaching parents how to engage the right way is instrumental in developing a strong sense of community for their child, team and club. USYS will begin working with Soccer Parenting immediately across a variety of activities and programming, including, but not limited to, the development of a USYS-branded Soccer Parenting Course, and expanding the reach of SoccerParentResourceCenter.com and The Sideline Project, programs developed by Soccer Parenting.
