US Youth Soccer Alumni See Dreams Come True During 2023 MLS SuperDraft

FRISCO, Texas (Dec. 22, 2022) – The 2023 MLS SuperDraft concluded on Wednesday night after three rounds of selections, now turning the attention towards February’s fast-approaching opening-weekend.

Los Angeles FC, the reigning MLS Cup champions, will enter the season hoping to repeat, but multiple title challengers bolstered their rosters on draft night. Ilijah Paul (Real Salt Lake) and Ben Stitz (D.C. United), two former US Youth Soccer National Champions, will use their championship pedigree to carve out a role during their first year in Major League Soccer.

In total, 30 US Youth Soccer alumni heard their names called on December 21 and will now look to make their mark in the professional ranks.
