FRISCO, Texas (July 16, 2025) — The groups and game schedules for the 2025 US Youth Soccer National Championships, presented by New York Life, are now available — revealing the path to youth soccer glory for the 168 participating teams.
The National Championships will be played at the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex and ChampionsGate Soccer Complex in the Orlando, Fla., area. The pinnacle event is the culmination of a season-long journey and features the top boys and girls teams in the nation in the 13U, 14U, 15U, 16U, 17U and 18/19U age groups.
All competing teams kick off on Tuesday, July 22 and play group stage games through July 24 to determine who will advance in the pursuit of the National Championship.
The boys and girls champions in the 13U age group will be crowned on July 25 in title games that feature the teams that finish in the top two of their group stage standings. Teams in the 14U-18/19U age groups that advance out of group play will have a day of rest on July 25 before competing in semifinal matches on July 26. Winners of the semifinals will move on to play in the finals on July 27, when the National Champions will be crowned.
The field of teams competing in Florida features 48 champions and representatives who advanced to Nationals from the US Youth Soccer Regionals Championships. Additionally, 120 teams earned their place in the National Championships through their performance at the National League Semifinal events.
Included among the trophies that will be lifted by the deserving champions at the conclusion of the week is the James P. McGuire Cup — the oldest trophy in youth sports, dating back to 1935 with the inaugural youth championships. The James P. McGuire Cup final will begin at 7:30 a.m. ET on July 27 to determine the 19U Boys National Champion. Officially known as the United States Soccer Federation National Junior Challenge Cup, the competition was renamed the James P. McGuire Junior Champion Cup in 1975, after the late United States Soccer Federation President.
Ninety-six group play matches and all semifinals and finals will be live streamed on the US Youth Soccer YouTube channel. Friday’s 13U Boys and Girls finals and Sunday’s 18/19U Boys and Girls finals will be live on ESPNU.
